Jiri Kunsal Thongdrolling was founded by H.E. Kyabje Bumla Nawang Sherab Rinpoche (1935-2024) under the guidance of H.H. Kyabje Dephug Rinpoche.
Named "Kunsal Thondrolling" by H.H. Dephug Rinpoche, meaning "Clarity and Liberation through Seeing," we preserve the unbroken lineage of Tertön Nyangral Nyingma Odser (1124-1192).

Since 1978, we have provided authentic teachings and humanitarian aid to the Himalayan region.
Spiritual Retreats
We offer monthly and yearly meditation retreats. In 2019, 10 monks successfully completed the rigorous three-year retreat.
Monastic Education
We offer a holistic monastic education integrating Budhist teaching and modern academics.
Holy Rituals
We conduct authentic rituals and prayers for individuals during birth, illness, and passing, supporting the community spiritually.
